Introduction

Epoxy flooring

Epoxy flooring is considered the ideal solution for industrial floors such as factories, warehouses, sheds, car parking areas, and all industrial surfaces exposed to heavy loads and high traffic.
Epoxy floors are highly resistant to abrasion and friction, prevent the growth of bacteria and microbes, are completely waterproof, and are easy to clean from oils, grease, and water.
They are also known for their long lifespan and fast installation process.

Epoxy Flooring Installation Steps

01

Concrete Grinding & Surface Preparation

The concrete surface must be mechanically ground and polished to remove the weak top layer, allowing the epoxy primer to penetrate deeply into the concrete pores. This ensures strong adhesion between the epoxy materials and the concrete surface.
02

Epoxy Primer Application

The first stage of the epoxy system is applying a low-viscosity epoxy primer to ensure deep penetration into the concrete pores.
The epoxy primer can be applied using rollers or spray machines.
03

Epoxy Putty Application

After the epoxy primer has dried, several layers of epoxy putty are applied to fill any pores, holes, or large cracks in the concrete.
Once dry, the putty surface is sanded smoothly before applying the final finishing coat.
